Module Description: This module develops the learner's approach to characterisation and performance, focusing in particular on the work of Michael Chekhov.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:
LO1 apply Chekov's theories to practice
LO2 utilise improvisation as a basis for developing performance
LO3 reflect critically on both their own performance and those of others
LO4 perform a variety of Chekhov's acting techniques and exercises
LO5 realise a text using the specific acting techniques of Michael Chekhov
