KATHERINE KEANE |
| Module Description: |
This module will provide comprehensive investigations into graphic representation and communication with REVIT for Architecture including the skills, procedures and commands required to produce 2D/3D virtual building models using building modelling software to professional standards, presentation in 2D formats and fully rendered photorealistic 3D images, BIM as a design and production information tool in developing parametric models and collaborative BIM drawing information coordination and integration within the design team. |
| Learning Outcomes |
| On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to: |
| LO1 |
Apply computer commands in the production of a virtual model. |
| LO2 |
Produce annotated 2D drawings. |
| LO3 |
Produce a 3D virtual building model to professional standards. |
| LO4 |
Develop photo realistic images of virtual models. |
| LO5 |
Develop production information for project specific schedules and legends. |
| LO6 |
Utilise the digital model to extract and elaborate construction information for project delivery. |
| LO7 |
Integrate various parametric models and co-ordinate information. |
| Pre-requisite learning |
Module Recommendations
This is prior learning (or a practical skill) that is strongly recommended before enrolment in this module. You may enrol in this module if you have not acquired the recommended learning but you will have considerable difficulty in passing (i.e. achieving the learning outcomes of) the module. While the prior learning is expressed as named CIT module(s) it also allows for learning (in another module or modules) which is equivalent to the learning specified in the named module(s). |
| No recommendations listed |
Incompatible Modules
These are modules which have learning outcomes that are too similar to the learning outcomes of this module. You may not earn additional credit for the same learning and therefore you may not enrol in this module if you have successfully completed any modules in the incompatible list. |
