Module Description: This module builds on the principles of human resource management to allow the development of human resource strategies.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:
LO1 Discuss contemporary human resource management in terms of its tasks, functions and systems
LO2 Analyse the fundamental goals of human resource mangement and business strategies within organisations
LO3 Describe the various methods of recruitment and selection in organisations
LO4 Discuss organisational strategies and approaches to coping with diversity
LO5 Demonstrate the importance of performance management, identifying the techniques, limitations and management of performance appraisals.
