Module Description: This module enables the student to develop the skills required to interpret and complete a technical project based on the operation and application of PLC's applied to industrial automation.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:
LO1 use a range of skills and techniques to undertake a technical project.
LO2 propose solutions and prepare a technical project proposal.
LO3 select components appropriate for technical projects encountered in industrial automation.
LO4 develop and modify PLC code for a project.
LO5 communicate their project outcomes and results appropriately in both written and verbal form.

Identify sources for any components required and determine costs.
Project Report
Produce a detailed project report.
