Module Description: This module enables the learner to develop an individual and creative approach to teaching his/her instrument.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:
LO1 Support an intermediate student in musical and instrumental development
LO2 Develop a programme of appropriate repertory and supporting technical material for intermediate cycle students
LO3 Identify a broad range of teaching strategies and teaching methods, and consider their appropriate use and application in instrumental instruction
LO4 Self-evaluate and critically reflect on teaching practice experience
