Module Description: This module provides an introduction to the management principles, practices and organisational procedures applied to the construction industry.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:
LO1 Identify the principles and practices of management and their application within the construction industry.
LO2 Describe the roles and duties of the construction management team at the pre-contract and post-contract stages of a construction project.
LO3 Outline the various organisational structures within a construction company.
LO4 Explain the resources in the context of a construction project.

Company structures: tall, flat. Site organisational structures.
