Module Description: |
This module centres mainly on history pf Spain in the Twentieth and Twenty First Century. This module also centres on the B1 level of Spanish according to European framework of reference for languages: present and past subjunctive to express opinions and judgements and hypothetical conditions, combination of past tenses including the pluperfect tense and the direct and indirect pronouns in the topics of tourism and customer service. |

On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to: |
LO1 |
Critically examine historical events in the Twentieth and Twenty First Century in Spain. |
LO2 |
Listen and critically analyse intermediate conversations which include subjunctive (past and present) and combination of past tenses on the topics of tourism and customer service. |
LO3 |
Speak in the scenario of a job interview for the tourism industry. |
LO4 |
Write extended paragraphs, film synopsis and personal opinions in Spanish which include present and past subjunctive and the combination of past tenses. |
LO5 |
Read and critically study authentic texts in Spanish regarding the topics of tourism, customer service, film synopsis and certain historical events in Spain. |
