Module Description: |
This module revisits the self-assessment process for the year one module and conducts a re-assessment in the context of the defined core competencies. It supports the learner in the development of evidence of achievement of core competencies and in identifying deficiencies in relation to them. It assists the learner, in consulation with the placement co-ordinator and the workplace supervisor, to devise learning activities to address identified competence gaps. |

On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to: |
LO1 |
Conduct a self assessment and identify those competencies which have been achieved to date. |
LO2 |
Develop an individual skills inventory in the context of the core competencies deemed as appropriate for community work practice |
LO3 |
Record and reflect on evidence of attainment and learning in a porfolio |
LO4 |
Identify under supervision those gaps remaining in achievement of core competencies. |
LO5 |
Construct a set of learning activities to be undertaken to address deficiencies in competence levels. |
