Module Description: This module will concentrate on industry specific cases with the purpose of identifying issues relevant and current within the hospitality environment. The module seeks to allow learners to draw on principles and practices studied in the Industry Management Skills and Industry Operations modules in order to develop and explore operational solutions.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:
LO1 Diagnose and solve real world industry related issues
LO2 Evaluate financial data to assist in decision making in a hospitality business
LO3 Discuss current operational challenges and trends within the Hospitality Industry
LO4 Recognise the importance of time management and task completion
