Module Description: This module builds on the student's Systems Analysis skills with a comprehensive introduction to the theory and practice of Systems Design. The student will learn how to architect, design and implement Information Systems.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:
LO1 Describe the steps involved in Systems Design.
LO2 Describe and apply the concepts of Architecture Design.
LO3 Describe and apply the concepts of User Interface Design.
LO4 Describe and apply the principles of Database Design.
LO5 Apply Systems Design techniques to develop an Information System.
