Module Description: An introduction to the art of directing, exploring a range of approaches and practitioners. This will be a studio based course, involving both research and practical application.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:
LO1 demonstrate an understanding of a range of approaches to directing, and the changing role of the director
LO2 display a knowledge of key directors and their directing techniques
LO3 show an ability to use research and criticism in interpretative practice
LO4 work as director both independently and collaboratively
LO5 present work in written, oral and practical format
