Module Description: An introduction to skills and concepts of Musical Theatre, Acting through Song, Dance, and vocal training
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:
LO1 reproduce a basic vocal and physical warm-up
LO2 demonstrate a sound knowledge of the fundamental concepts of Musical Theatre
LO3 display an understanding of the integration of acting and singing
LO4 embody Musical Theatre dance styles
LO5 demonstrate basic musicianship skills
LO6 participate in ensemble performance of selected works, demonstrating appropriate style and expression
