Module Description: This module, as the first in a progressive series of skill-centered modules, provides intensive directed study of an individualised technical and etude programme that enables students to develop their performance potential. It also provides an introduction to chamber music.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:
LO1 Display core technical instrumental/vocal skills
LO2 Apply acquired technical and interpretive skills to play a short unprepared piece at sight
LO3 Present etude repertoire appropriate to his/her instrumental/vocal ability
LO4 Collaborate with peers in an appropriate chamber ensemble
LO5 Apply acquired technical patterns to appropriate repertory
