Module Description: An intensive grounding in the skills and procedures involved in stage management
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:
LO1 Liaise effectively with the other members of the production team
LO2 Plan, schedule, roster and supervise all logistics from pre-production and auditions to get-out and returns
LO3 Prepare a prompt book with all calls, cues and blocking instructions
LO4 Put together and rehearse an effective stage crew with DSM and ASM's
LO5 Prepare and mark-out all rehearsal and performance spaces and supervise rehearsal and final props
LO6 Document all aspects of the show through daily session and show reports
LO7 Call a Show
