This module provides a first opportunity for the learner to present an open recital in an informal setting. |
Learning Outcomes |
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to: |
LO1 |
Display progression of practical skill, musical phrasing and improvement in concentration required for an instrumental performance |
LO2 |
Implement a basic programme of work towards the achievement of a recital standard of performance |
LO3 |
Display applied stylistical knowledge of instrumental and chamber music repertory |
LO4 |
Function successfully as a member of a group showing understanding of ensemble playing with regards to voice leading and blending within the group |

Strong evidence of performing ability. Normally, a mark of at least 70% in Core Instrumental Studies 2 or Core Instrumental Studies 3 performance evaluation is required. |
