Module Description: This module centres mainly on the economic and business culture of the Spanish-speaking world. This module also centres on B1 level of Spanish according to European framework of reference for languages. It centres on business Spanish. This includes the following topics and grammar aspects: Business communication and etiquette, banking, past subjunctive and conditional.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to:
LO1 Listen and analyse conversations on topics of business communication and etiquette and banking in the Spanish speaking world
LO2 Speak and respond to Spanish conversations on topics of business communication and etiquette and banking in the Spanish speaking world
LO3 Write essays (intermediate level) on topics of business communication and etiquette and banking in the Spanish speaking world
LO4 Read and analyse authentic texts in Spanish on topics of business communication and etiquette and banking in the Spanish speaking world
LO5 Research economic and business aspects of Spanish-speaking countries
