  (a) A specialised knowledge of graphic design practice and theory, and of relevant areas including typography, photography, illustration, creative technology, printing, graphic reproduction and visual culture.

  (a) The ability to research, critically evaluate and analyse both visual and text-based information, and to apply practical, technical and conceptual skills in the production and presentation of creative and individual solutions to design problems.
